I am running for Alabama State Senate District 5 because I am tired of party politics and I believe it is time to put the people back in control of our government. We are wasting too much time trying to make our parties look good by focusing on the negatives of the other party, when we should be concentrating on the most important issue, the people. Our government has failed to accomplish many things because of the division between our parties. My pledge to you as your next Senator will be to not just work with the Democrats for positive change in our state government, but to work with the Republicans as well.
